A Maryland fire department has suspended firefighters for fighting while battling a fire late last week.

The altercation between Prince George's County firefighters happened during a call in Capitol Heights, WJLA-TV reports. Officials said tensions sparked because the firefighters, who arrived in different vehicles, had been competing with each other to reach the scene.
