FDNY firefighter Timoty Klein was first in line in on his off-duty days to help families that need alterations to their homes due to medical.
During his work with Fight For Firefighters Foundation, Klein was a big part of many new ramps that were installed.
"It wasn't just the builds he was at, he pretty much did all of our fundraising," John Vaeth of the Fight For Firefighters Foundation told Eyewitness News ABC7NY .
When it came to building ramps, Klein never missed a single job during his six years with FDNY. Klein’s co-workers said Klein had a dedication that was contagious.
The week before Klein's death, he was finishing a project for a family in Seaford widening their doors and fixing their floor.
