A single vehicle crash caused extensive damage to the Knoxville Fire Department’s Museum located adjacent to fire department headquarters station.
The museum was damaged when a Jeep Grand Cherokee left the road crashing through the building narrowly missing the historic steamer engine Sam B. Boyd, WBIR 10 News reported.
The historic steam engine is named after a former Knoxville fire chief who died from a medical emergency while responding to a fire.
