A late-night fire on Oct. 25 destroyed two homes in Detroit.
At 10:11 p.m. the Detroit Communications Office dispatched a box alarm to Pennsylvania and Mack for a dwelling fire. Engines 41, 9, Ladder 14, Squad 6 and Battalion 6 were assigned.
Engine 41 reported two homes on fire and that they were going into a defensive mode.
Battalion 6 requested two additional engines, bringing Engines 52 and 46.
The home where the fire started collapsed during the incident.
