Loudon, NH, Firefighters Face Challenges at House Fire

The closest water supply was more than a half mile away, the Loudon fire chief said.

A chimney fire quickly spread and destroyed a Loudon house.

Firefighters quickly called for additional alarms due to the rural location of the incident and water supply challenges, WMUR reported.

The closest water available was a half-mile away.

An attached wood shed was destroyed but a barn was not damaged.

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries.
