Electric Heater Blamed for Buffalo, NY, Fire that Claimed Kids
An electric heater is being blamed for a house fire in Buffalo that claimed the lives of two children.
“Fatal fires are always difficult, especially when there are children involved. It makes a little harder on everybody. They’re not easy," Fire Marshal Captain Francis Krathaus told WIVB.
The bodies of a two-year-old and a 10-year-old were found by firefighters.
Buffalo firefighters, who found heavy fire, managed to rescue five from the fire, including two adults and three other children.
The mother, father, and one other child remain at the Erie County Medical Center while two others have been released, Krathaus said Monday evening.
