Pa. Firefighters Rescue 2 From Fire Building Roof

EAST LIBERTY, Pa. -- Firefighters said two people were rescued from the roof of an apartment building that caught fire in East Liberty. Crews said they were called to the building along North Negley Avenue early Saturday morning. The two people who were rescued were taken to a hospital, but their injuries were not considered serious. Emergency dispatchers said another person was injured while jumping out of a window.

Firefighters said two people were rescued from the roof of an apartment building that caught fire in East Liberty.

Crews said they were called to the building along North Negley Avenue early Saturday morning.

The two people who were rescued were taken to a hospital, but their injuries were not considered serious.

Emergency dispatchers said another person was injured while jumping out of a window.

Two firefighters received minor injuries while cleaning up debris from the fire.

Firefighters said more than 12 people were left without a home.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
