Ga. Fire Burns 12 Apts., Sends Woman to Hospital

CLARKSTON, Ga. -- Firefighters are looking into what sparked a fire that destroyed nearly a dozen units at a DeKalb County apartment complex, sending one woman to the hospital. The fire broke out at the Baynes Court apartments in Clarkston early Sunday morning. Investigators said they are not sure how many people have been displaced from the fire but the Red Cross is assisting those affected by the fire. Firefighters said one woman had to be taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

Investigators said they are not sure how many people have been displaced from the fire but the Red Cross is assisting those affected by the fire.

Investigators said the cause is still under investigation.
