The Houston County Fire Department's station in McKinnon, Tenn. was destroyed by a fire late Monday night, according to The Stewart Houston Times.
A 2,000-gallon tanker truck and a 1972 utility vehicle in working condition were both lost in the blaze, Fire Chief David Hardin told the newspaper.
The fire started at approximately 11 p.m. at the station on Mathis Road next to the McKinnon Community Center.
"When we got here, it was fully involved," he said. "This is such a huge loss to the county."
The damages to the trucks and the sheet metal building were estimated at more than $100,000.
Calls in the McKinnon area are being covered by the department's Tennessee Ridge station.
The Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause.
