Fire Strikes Ore. Bowling Alley, Nothing Spared

SWEET HOME, Ore. -- An Oregon bowling alley might be a total loss after a major fire. When fire crews arrived at the Sweet Home Bowling Alley early Friday morning, the building was fully engulfed in flames. There were people living above the bowling alley at the time, firefighters say, and they had to go to the roof to escape. Crews used a fire engine to bring the residents to safety. The cause of the fire hasn't been released.
