Cause of Oregon Cannery Fire May Be Accidental

ASTORIA, Ore. -- While the investigation is not complete, fire investigators say an electrical problem is likely what started a massive fire that burned two historic buildings in Astoria last week. One of the buildings has been declared unsafe and has been turned over to property managers. People who own businesses destroyed in the fire should call the property management company for details on how to access the building.

ASTORIA, Ore. --

While the investigation is not complete, fire investigators say an electrical problem is likely what started a massive fire that burned two historic buildings in Astoria last week.

One of the buildings has been declared unsafe and has been turned over to property managers. People who own businesses destroyed in the fire should call the property management company for details on how to access the building.

Investigators are still looking for video or photos of the fire. Anyone who can help is asked to contact Astoria police.
