Burning Bush Sets Ore. Church Ablaze

WOODBURN, Ore. -- A burning bush set a Woodburn church on fire Friday morning, firefighters said. Fire crews were called to the Church of Nazarene at 3601 Newberg Highway at 11:15 a.m., fire officials said, and found smoke coming from the building. Flames from the bush had reached to the building, according to the Woodburn Fire District. A passerby used an extinguisher to knock out most of the fire before it spread. The blaze appeared to mostly damage the outside of the church near the bush.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
