Okla. Neighbor Watches Man Start Fire
OKLAHOMA CITY --
A man said he saw someone start a house fire in his southwest Oklahoma City neighborhood early Thursday.
The fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. near Southwest 42nd Street and Villa Avenue.
A man said he saw someone throw something into the vacant house then take off on a bicycle.
Witnesses said flames were shooting from the house. Firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly, but there is extensive damage to the house.
An Oklahoma City Fire Department Battalion Chief is calling this fire suspicious. It is under investigation.
