Fire Does $1M Damage to Pa. Strip Mall

SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A fire burned at a Dauphin County strip mall Tuesday evening. The fire happened at the Brandywine Plaza along Paxton Church Road in Susquehanna Township. News 8 was told that the fire started at the Ginger and Spice Japanese restaurant. There were employees inside at the time, but none were seriously hurt. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries. As of 6:25 p.m. about 60 firefighters were fighting to contain the blaze.

News 8 was told that the fire started at the Ginger and Spice Japanese restaurant. There were employees inside at the time, but none were seriously hurt.

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries.

As of 6:25 p.m. about 60 firefighters were fighting to contain the blaze.

Early estimates peg the damage at up to $1 million.
