JOHNSTOWN, Pa. --
After four trash fires and a threatening message spray painted on walls, Johnstown police are on alert to catch the vandals.
Johnstown fire crews were out late Wednesday night putting out four trash fires in the Hornerstown section of the city.
Police Chief Craig Foust told WJAC-TV the fires were intentionally set and, coincidentally, a message was spray painted on two buildings nearby.
The message read, "Let drug dealers sell or Johnstown will burn."
Foust said he believes the fires and the message are connected, so police will be patrolling those areas. The message states it will happen on Friday.
Police asked that neighbors be on the lookout for any suspicious activity. Anyone with details that can help the investigation is asked to call police.
