MIDWEST CITY, Okla.
--
A truck crashed into a Midwest City junior high school early Saturday, causing a fire.
Investigators said a truck that had been stolen from Oklahoma City hit a curb, drove through a fence and crashed into Monroney Junior High School at about 1:30 a.m.
Investigators said the driver ran away from the scene after the crash.
Stacey Yarbrough said the stolen truck belonged to her father and he used it for his construction business.
"It's very discouraging for people that work hard that things can be taken," she said.
Police said the truck also hit an air conditioning unit, severing a gas line.
