Electrical Issue Sparks Wis. Bar Fire

    JANESVILLE, Wis. -- An electrical malfunction is to blame for a fire at a Janesville bar Friday night, the Janesville Fire Department said. Customers at Weirdo’s Bar and Grill at 209 West Milwaukee Street told the bar's owner at about 11:30 p.m. Friday night that they smelled smoke. Soon one of the bar's air conditioners was on fire. Janesville firefighters quickly put out the flames, which ended up causing about $25,000 in damage.
