Bomb Destroys 2 Trucks in S.C.

UNA, S.C. -- Spartanburg County deputies said that an explosive device was detonated under a pickup truck in Una on Tuesday morning. The explosion happened outside of 110 Rosewood Park Rive at about 7:30 a.m. Deputies said that when they arrived at the scene, firefighters were extinguishing a truck that was on fire. They said that a device exploded under that pickup truck, damaged another truck nearby and shattered the windows of a nearby mobile home. No one was injured in the explosion.

The explosion happened outside of 110 Rosewood Park Rive at about 7:30 a.m.

Deputies said that when they arrived at the scene, firefighters were extinguishing a truck that was on fire. They said that a device exploded under that pickup truck, damaged another truck nearby and shattered the windows of a nearby mobile home.

No one was injured in the explosion.

Deputies said that they are still trying to determine who made the device and the motive behind the explosion.
