EAST HARTFORD, Conn. --
Crews from multiple towns were called to a fire at an East Hartford commercial building Monday morning.
The fire was reported at a building on George Street before 9 a.m.
Firefighters from Hartford and Manchester were called to the blaze.
A person who works in the building told Eyewitness News that all of the workers were able to escape the blaze.
Cherry, Charles, Cedar, James, Governor and Thomas streets were closed while crews battled the blaze.
