An Indianapolis man found dead Friday likely died in a fire in his home, investigators said.
Firefighters found the body of Timothy A. Considine, 56, in his home at 723 E. 54th St. after they were called to check on his welfare, said Indianapolis Fire Department Capt. Rita Reith.
Investigators said it appeared that there had been a fire in his home within the last week.
An autopsy will determine Considine's cause of death, but investigators said they believe the fire was accidental.
