Tenn. Paramedics Revive Woman at Apartment Fire

MADISON, Tenn. -- A fire broke out at a Forrest Park Road apartment complex in the Madison area early Saturday morning. Metro firefighters said a woman and her family were trying to gather some belongings from their unit when the woman collapsed. Crews said her heart stopped beating, but paramedics were able to revive her. That woman was rushed to the hospital, where she remains in an unknown condition. Firefighters managed to contain the fire to just one unit and put it out.

A fire broke out at a Forrest Park Road apartment complex in the Madison area early Saturday morning.

Metro firefighters said a woman and her family were trying to gather some belongings from their unit when the woman collapsed. Crews said her heart stopped beating, but paramedics were able to revive her.

That woman was rushed to the hospital, where she remains in an unknown condition.

Firefighters managed to contain the fire to just one unit and put it out.

No one else was hurt.
