DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. --

A DeKalb County fire truck was involved in a crash at Max Cleland Boulevard and Swift Street in Lithonia Friday afternoon.

Three firefighters and four other people were injured. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

Officials said a fire truck collided with two vehicles -- a car and a truck. The fire truck ended up running into a concrete support for a railroad bridge.

Captain Eric Jackson with the DeKalb County Fire Department told Channel 2 the fire truck was on its way to a call when the crash happened.

All three firefighters in the truck were taken to the hospital. Jackson said all three were released from the hospital by Saturday afternoon.

Jackson said the accident is still under investigation.
