Firefighters were called about 1:30 a.m. to the 1200 block of E Street Northeast to fight a fire for the second time in five days, officials said.

Next-door neighbor Eddie Lowe told News4 , "We were informed that Thursday's fire was a Molotov cocktail, thrown in the back stairwell of the townhouse."

Fire investigators brought an accelerant-sniffing dog to the scene, but they haven't said what the dog found.

Officials said Wednesday morning's fire forced a woman to jump from her burning home. Two neighbors attempted to break the woman's fall. She was taken to a local hospital suffering from a broken collarbone.

Fire department spokesman Alan Etter said area residents should make sure their smoke alarms are in good working order and they should also keep their eyes open.

Lowe said, "Let's just say this is the second night in five days that we've had to evacuate the premises, so it's been pretty disturbing."

So far police said they have no suspects and they have not established a motive for the fires.
