Child Playing with Matches Blamed in Fatal Philadelphia Fire

Firefighters believe the family tried to fight the fire instead of immediately getting out.
Investigators have released a cause in Thursday's deadly fire in southwest Philadelphia. The fire marshal said it was a child playing with matches. Kathy White, 36, and her three children were killed. Firefighters believe the family tried to fight the fire instead of immediately getting out. Firefighters also said there were no smoke detectors in the house.
