A Miramar home was charred by flames and an 8-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital Saturday. The fire scorched a home in the 3800 block on 69th Avenue. Investigators believe the injured boy may have been to blame for the blaze. Neighbors said he may have been playing with matches. Fortunately, the child only suffered a minor burn to his arm. The home's interior was badly damaged.
