The man who set a major fire in downtown Hazard earlier this year has pleaded guilty.
Judge John David Caudill sentenced 50-year old Marty Williams to 25 years in prison on arson and wanton endangerment charges.
The fire destroyed two businesses and at least three apartments in March.
Williams is expected to be held in the psychiatric hospital ward in Lagrange.
Beginning next week, one of the burned buildings is expected to be torn down, while the one that housed Area Office Supply and was once the Virginia Theatre is expected to be re-built.
