The man accused of starting a deadly apartment fire in Glendale will appear in court Monday for a preliminary hearing.

Blake Fieber, 22, is accused of setting a fire in December that destroyed the five-story Spanish Gates Apartments.

Residents say Fieber set the blaze after getting into a fight with his roommate.

Nancy Weaver, 46, who lived on the top floor, was killed in the Dec. 28 fire. Several other residents were injured.

Fieber faces first-degree murder, arson, assault and about two dozen other charges.
