The boyfriend of a woman whose family was evicted from a Brooklyn brownstone is being sought for questioning in the arson blaze that critically injured firefighter Joseph Lennon, sources told The Post.

Investigators suspect the Sunday blaze was linked to a recent eviction at the Macon Street, Bedford-Stuyvesant building after the family living there lost the home for falling behind on tax payments.

The building was put up for auction and the unidentified new owner quickly changed the locks.

Detectives believe that may have infuriated the evicted family.

Lennon, a firefighter for five years, suffered burns and smoke poisoning when he raced into the building, unaware that no one was inside.

Failing debris knocked him out, his air mask was dislodged and smoke filled his lungs before he was found.

He is recovering at Jacobi Hospital in The Bronx.
