BROOKVILLE, Pa. (AP) -- A firefighter was convicted on charges related to a string of arsons in Jefferson County.
Dustin Buzard, of Corsica, was convicted of two counts of criminal conspiracy, but he was acquitted on two counts of arson and other charges.
Last month, the former president of the Brookville volunteer fire department was convicted on three counts of arson and a number of other charges related to fires at four vacant buildings in 2002.
Another former chief also pleaded guilty last month to two counts of arson for his role in the fires, which were set around Brookville, a town about 70 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
No one was injured in the fires.
