PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) -- A 19-year-old man was charged with tossing a firebomb into the home of witness who was going to testify against the teen in a drug case.

Ricky A. Young was being held Sunday without bond at Bay County Jail on charges of arson, retaliation against a witness and manufacturing a firebomb. He was charged Friday.

According to arrest affidavits, Young allegedly hurled the firebomb through the living room window of an apartment duplex Jan. 11. The arrest report did not mention injuries in the attack.

Police alleged Young was retaliating against Eric McFadden, 23, who had provided sworn testimony against Young in a marijuana case in which both men were arrested last year.

In the case, Young was charged with selling marijuana and conspiring to traffic more than 200 pounds of the drug. McFadden pleaded guilty to felony marijuana possession and was sentenced to probation.

The jail did not have any attorney information for Young.
