A $10,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can shed some light on last weekend's fire at Tierney Warehouse.
On Friday, the cause of the blaze was determined to be arson, according to Logansport Fire Investigator Ted Franklin and the Indiana State Fire Marshal's Office.
The money is being funded through the Tierney family's insurance company and the Indiana Arson and Crime Association, said Franklin. The tip must lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the crime.
The fire at the warehouse, located at 1401 W. Cliff Drive, was reported last Saturday, Oct. 18, at around 2:17 a.m. The 17,000-square-foot building was fully engulfed in flames when the LFD arrived.
According to a press release from Franklin, the building and contents were valued at approximately $1 million.
Investigators believe that there are witnesses who may have information that is crucial to solving the case. They are asking anyone who traveled in the area of West Cliff Drive late last Friday night, Oct. 17, or early the next morning, to contact the LFD at 753-3102, Ext. 223, the Arson Hotline at (800) 382-4628, or Cass County Crime Stoppers at 722-STOP (7867).
This fire is the Cass County Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week. Anyone who dials the Crime Stoppers number will be assigned a code number and will not be required to give a name. Outside Logansport, individuals may call collect.
