Records Show Station Victims Killed by Toxic Gases

Death certificates issued for the victims of the Station nightclub fire show that most of the men and women who perished in the blaze died not from burns but primarily from inhaling "products of combustion" and from their inability to breathe in the "super-heated oxygen-depleted atmosphere."
