Kansas House Fire Injures Three People

Three people were injured in a house fire in south Wichita early this afternoon, authorities said.

Jan. 10--Three people were injured in a house fire in south Wichita early this afternoon, authorities said.

The fire broke out shortly after 12:30 p.m. at 4501 S. Lulu, a Sedgwick County dispatcher said. Three people were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, but none were transported to the hospital.

The Red Cross has been called out to offer assistance to the family of five that lived at the house, which is north of 47th Street South and east of I-135.

A cause and damage estimate have not been released.
