Trolley Carrying Wedding Party Catches Fire in Pa.

No injuries were reported after a trolley bus, carrying a bride and her bridal party caught fire on Interstate 90.

Aug. 11--A trolley bus carrying a bride and her bridal party to a wedding caught fire today on Interstate 90 in Girard Township, authorities said.

The trolley was heading east on I-90 at about 1:05 p.m. when a state trooper from the Girard barracks saw smoke coming from the vehicle's engine.

After the trolley stopped, the bride and her party evacuated the vehicle, and a trooper put out the fire in the engine behind the right front tire, police said.

Nobody was injured, police said.

Family members and friends driving in other vehicles arrived and took the bride and her party to their wedding, police said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, police said.
