Nov. 26--A fire at a storage building Monday night caused an estimated $60,000 worth of damage, a county fire department spokesman said.
Firefighters responded to the 700 block of Route 3 North around 11:30 p.m. Upon arrival firefighters called for additional resources bring a total of 37 personnel to the scene, fire department spokesman Division Chief Keith Swindle said.
The fire was brought under control in about 45 minutes.
The building was in the rear of a business and was being used for storage, Swindle said.
Route 3 was closed for some two hours as firefighters extinguished the blaze.
There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation Tuesday morning.
