At least 20 families were displaced as flames swept through an Opa-locka apartment building Friday.
Flames quickly spread to the attic of the building and several residents escaped the building unharmed.
The fire reached three alarms, bringing over 100 firefighters to the scene, Lt. Arnold Piedrahita, spokesman for Miami-Dade Fire, told the Miami Herald.
No injuries were reported.
