Chicago Firefighters Battling Church Blaze

Crews found heavy smoke and flames.

Chicago firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames at Shrine of Christ the King Church about 5:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Varnishing was being done by a cleaning crew on Tuesday night, and investigators are trying to determine if the fire started then.
