MARLOW HEIGHTS, Md. (WUSA9) -- Thirty-six people have been displaced after a three-alarm fire Wednesday evening in Marlow Heights.
The fire happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 4800 block of St. Barnabas Road. No one was injured, but fire officials said 29 adults and seven children living in 11 apartment units are out of their homes.
The Red Cross is assisting.
Officials said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Prince George's County Fire and Rescue is also looking into some complaints from residents. Some residents are not happy with the amount of time they believe it took crews to get to the scene.
However officials say there was no delayed response time and they cannot be held responsible for the amount of time it takes a person to call 911.
