Fire Destroys TX Strip Mall

A shopping center containing a restaurant, tattoo parlor and beauty salon in Harris County was destroyed by an early morning fire.

The firefighters were on the scene before 5 a.m. and large flames could be seen shooting from the building, according to television station KHOU 11.

The restaurant was a popular local establishment which had been in business for 15 years, the television station reported.

There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
