Three Children Perish in TX Mobile Home Fire
Three children under the age of 10 died Friday night when fire destroyed a mobile home in El Paso.
The fire was reported on Newell Hays at 6:24 p.m. after neighbors spotted smoke and flames coming from the structure.
Firefighters discovered the bodies of the children while they were attacking the fire, according to a statement released by the city.
The fire was contained by 7:09 p.m.
Two other residents, a 69-year-old male and a 3-year-old male, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Crimes Against Persons detectives have joined El Paso fire investigators to determine the cause of the fire and the deaths.
