Beijing (dpa) - A fire at a hotel in eastern China has claimed at least 10 lives, state media reported Saturday.
The fire at the HNA Platinum Mix Hotel in Nanchang, which burned for two hours before it was extinguished, killed seven people in the building, Xinhua news agency reported.
Among 16 others who were rescued from the building by firefighters, three died later in hospital.
Workers were said to have caused the blaze, according to initial investigations quoted by Xinhua, which provided no further details.
