Wood Pellet Factory Fire Goes to 4-Alarms in N.H.

Oct. 21--JAFFREY -- Firefighters from 13 towns and Jaffrey were sent to battle a fire at the New England Wood Pellet on Old Sharon Road Thursday night. An employee detected a fire in a company "cooler" and alerted officials at 6:11 p.m., according to emergency dispatchers. The first units reported a smoke condition and called for a second alarm. At 6:47 p.m. a fourth alarm was requested, which brought the total mutual aid departments on scene to 13. The facility did not appear to be ablaze.
