Chinatown Cleanups Helped Prevent CA Fire Fatalities

Almost a year after the city of Salinas set out to rid the Chinatown neighborhood of crowded homeless encampments, first responders say the fire on Soledad Street could have had deadly consequences had the streets not been cleared.
