3000 Gallon Freedom Tanker

The Belgrade Maine Fire Department took delivery of a new 2012 Kenworth 3000 gallon wet-side poly tanker. The apparatus was built by Freedom Fire Equipment in Georgia, and replaces a 1987 International 3000 gallon steel wet-side tanker.
Along with the 3000 gallon poly! tank the new Kenworth is equipped with a 500 gpm Darley PTO pump, 3 stainless steel dumps and a 3000 gallon aluminum frame dump tank. The Kenworth is powered by a PACCAR PX-8 350hp motor teamed with an Allison EVS automatic transmission.
