Incident commanders are always challenged with making high-risk, time-compressed decisions to ensure an emergency is mitigated while keeping their personnel and community safe.
Fire department operations, which have historically relied on written instructions or verbal directives, can now be digitized, and simplified, with OpsCentral’s intelligent operational and incident management software. This cloud-based solution has been developed to allow fire chiefs to make smarter and more informed incident command decisions -- from the station to the scene -- on a mobile tablet platform.
Critical data such as hydrant locations, building information, hazmat guides, hot zone identification, traffic conditions, and weather forecasts, are readily available for incident commanders to prepare for any emergency. On scene, commanders can stage assets, apparatus and personnel and share this critical information with other responders on the ground.
Locally resourced data such as geographic sensors, drone footage, traffic cameras, and department-specific personnel records and asset manuals can also be accessed. After the incident, record keeping can be used for training, after-action reviews, litigation claims and pre-planning future emergencies.
