    John Erichsen is the Director, Center for Fire & Safety and Course Developer and instructor at the University of Texas at Arlington, Division for Enterprise Development. Chief Erichsen served as the Director, Department of Army Fire and Emergency Services Pentagon, fire chief at the U.S. Army base Fort Monmouth, NJ and a firefighter with the Lakewood, NJ Fire Department. He has been a primary course developer and lead instructor for the fire, hazardous materials/waste, emergency and disaster response, and incident command and received several citations in his 40 year career.
