David S. Becker, MA, Paramedic, EFO is the immediate past chair of the EMS Section of the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC). He has served on that board for the past 20 years. Becker retired from the fire service after 22 years, including 15 years as a chief officer. He holds a master’s degree in health services management and is a graduate of the EFO program. He currently works full time for Columbia Southern University as an adjunct faculty member teaching in the EMS management and administration programs.
