Responding Houston Ladder Truck Catches Fire

A Houston crew had a close call Thursday night after their apparatus caught fire en route to a call.
A Houston crew had a close call Thursday night after their apparatus caught fire en route to a call, according to KTRK-TV.

The incident occurred on the Beltway at Olympia around 11 p.m.

The firefighters on board jumped out of the rig and extinguished the fire.

No one was injured.

Officials told the news station that it appears that the ladder truck's gas line had a leak and caused the fire.
