A Lefthand Fire Protection District volunteer firefighter at a party in Boulder had his Silver 2006 Doge Ram 1500 truck stolen Monday night.

Police said the truck had an emergency light bar, firefighting equipment and Colorado firefighter license plates.

"The biggest concern would be someone driving around with an emergency light bar and pulling people over falsely," Detective Sgt. Melissa Kampf told the Boulder Daily Camera.

The newspaper reported that the man went to use the bathroom about 8 p.m. and left his keys on a table. When he returned, the keys were gone and so was his truck.
