LEBANON, Pa. --

A woman who was critically injured in an arson in Lebanon met the firefighter who helped save her.

Maritsa Montilla and firefighter Mike Daub are both recovering from the fall they took from a ladder in July as Daub was rescuing her from her burning apartment on South Ninth Street.

The city of Lebanon honored Daub for his heroism. Daub said he was just doing his job.

Montilla said he saved her life.

"I'm just lucky to be alive and God blessed me for a reason," said Montilla. "I'm here for a reason and I'm going to make the best of it."

The city also recognized police Officer Eric Sims for giving Montilla first aid after she fell from the ladder.

The body of Kevin Robertson was found in a fire-gutted apartment that belonged to Nicholas Pappas.

Robertson's death is considered suspicious.

Police said they have questioned Pappas.

There have been no arrests in the arson.
